Our
wine and spirit courses in San Francisco are serious and challenging. They are designed for both members of the wine trade
and enthusiasts who want to greatly expand their knowledge of wine.
The French Wine Scholar study and certification program is geared for members of the wine trade and serious wine hobbyists; it is designed to test
for proficiency in the wines and wine regions of France. The French Wine
Scholar is the official curriculum for French wine as endorsed by Wines of France/French National Wine Office, as well as
numerous other French wine trade organizations such as Burgundy Wines, Inter Beaujolais, Interrhone, and Provence Wines, among
many others. It was developed by the French Wine Society to provide current, accurate information on the wine regions of France
and validate proficiency in the Wines of France. It is endorsed by the
National French Wine Office and by U.S. Importers of French Wine as well.
We offer comprehensive, multi-session
courses designed by the most trusted name in wine education "WSET." The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) was founded in 1969 to provide high quality education and training in
wines and spirits. The WSET is one of the most trusted and internationally-recognized wine and spirit education programs.
Currently the program is available in over 47 countries in 13 languages. For WSET, DWS is a satellite of the Wine House in
Los Angeles.

has just collaborated with the Spanish Wine Academy to give you the Spanish Wine Certification Course. This program is directed to wine professionals such as educators, critics, writers, journalists, distributors, importers,
sommeliers, wine buyers and enthusiasts who are interested in getting to know Spanish wines in depth, for buying and importing
them, for educational programs or simply for enjoying our wines.
This program is a certified, comprehensive and
all inclusive 2 day Spanish wine course, with an intensive tasting component. It covers the most important Spanish Appellations,
climates, soils, history, wine styles, grape varieties, etc. It will end with an exam that comprises a theory part and blind
tasting of 6 wines.
The top 15 high-scorers from the entire program (all over the world) will be treated to a
week Spanish Wine Tour covering Spain's top DO's, invited by The Wine Academy.
